
Between 2000 and 2006 Pete M. Wyer created music for a number of choreographic works by Jessica Lang.
These included ‘Imbalance’ with Phrenic (an excerpt of the music ‘Life Support’ can be heard when you open this page) Philadelphia, ‘Discoveries Uncovered’ for Juilliard in 2002, ‘Moving On’ for Alvin Ailey in 2003 and Senbazuru for the Juiliiard Centenary in 2006:
From February 22 – 26th 2006, the 26 minute ‘New Dance, New Music’ collaboration with choreographer Jessica Lang ‘Senbazuru’ was performed at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, Lincoln Center, New York with the Juilliard Orchestra, conducted by Andrea Quinn, soloists Daisy Press and Shelly Watson and a company of dancers from the Juilliard School, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Juilliard.
