“Black Journals, Mapping Time” is a serio-comic exploration of talk, musical thinking and creativity thatturns lyrical, tense, dark, weird, operatic,geo-sonic, political, annoying, poetic, British/American, sort of. With ghosts and literary allusions, of course.
A spoken word/ music-theater piece basedon the writings drawn from Sabatini’s lifelong journal project and new compositions by Wyer.The performance will include live, improvisation by Wyer (guitar, electronics, and pre-composed pieces) and texts,voice, and performance bitsby Sabatini. It will also feature ASU West site specific audiovideo recordings based on Wyer’s Time Structured Mapping system. For performance in Second Stage West.
